Clinical Training
The students are required to be in clinical area according to the course planning. Selected field trips will be arranged to different community agencies as per course plan. The Clinical practice is given at well equipped hospitals with all advanced facilities and specialities covering all departments like medicine, surgery, gynaecology, paediatrics at Govt. / Private Hospitals and Mental Hospital etc. For Community nursing, college has affiliation with urban and rural public health centres.
The Hospital has a 24 hrs Casualty ward and has expertise in Trauma Management with an expert team of physicians & surgeons. It has the facilities of 20 beds, Treatment Room, Minor OT& Major OTComplex with all necessary equipments for handling emergency like Ventilators, Cardiac Monitor, Mobile X-Ray, Pulse Oxymeters, Defibrilators, ECG machines etc.
OPD & ICU Wards
The OPD is planned in a modular pattern with each department having Consultation Chambers, Reception, Waiting Area , Case Demonstration Room and other necessary laboratories and clinics as required in each department. The OPD timing is from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm and the consultation with the Doctors is free of charge.
